Our Environment

Philosophy

"Sustainability means living, working and behaving in a way that will sustain the integrity and biodiversity of the local, regional and planetary ecosystems on which all life depends. It means finding ways to achieve the quality that we seek in our own lives without sacrificing the quality that Earth's many and varied ecosystems need".  - Guy Dauncey

Commitment to the Environment

“Victoria Alexander is my tool and avenue to reflect all that I have learned from my mentors - my family, Mr. Craig Cassarino, Mr. Jack McGinnis and indirectly, Mr. Tom Kelly - who have contributed to help all of us realize that by taking, we must be willing to give back. Aptly referred to by many as “The Green Movement”.

“As a result of over 35 years of time and research, there are today numerous items and applications that have become accepted by society, governments, and most importantly, the commercial and building sectors. This is what my mentors, and that of other like-minded individuals and groups throughout the world, have been hoping and anticipating. Finally, the products of their time and tireless efforts have manifested itself in how we have recently taken steps by desiring and acting; by making the necessary changes in how we consume our natural resources and, by using ecologically friendly and sustainable products in our everyday lives. I am one of many who is thankful, inspired, motivated and benefited by such efforts.

“To have a small part in “The Green Movement” has been something that I have been hoping to do for many years and which I’d like to remain a part of for a long time. It is immensely difficult for man to completely fix the problems of our Earth’s depleting resources. However, each of us is capable of keeping the earth beautiful and sustainable, since, according to Mr. Jack McGinnis “no one can do everything, but everyone can do something”. This can be accomplished by following the adage: think before acting.

“Likewise, my vision and drive for Victoria Alexander is not due to an existing commercial trend. It is to show both the public and prospective homebuyers that the words “beauty”, “luxury” and “green” are no longer words to be used independently. These terms have become inter-dependent, necessary and practical architectural design jargon. Thus making it part of environmental wealth. We must view our natural resources as delicate and precious and instill in our minds that awareness, corporate responsibility and accountability are ways in which we can assist in recuperating our environment.” -
